Creating an application portfolio (see Foundation Year / Portfolio Preparation)
Drawing fundamentals, artistic rendering techniques, life drawing, printmaking, acrylics etc.
Year 2: Advanced Year I
Illustration
Rendering techniques, character design, picture books, editorial, storyboard, animation
Graphic design
Layout, packaging, posters, infographics, advertising, logo development, corporate identity
Digital fundamentals
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (every student needs their own laptop with the Adobe programs installed)
Techniques
Artistic printing techniques – etching, linocut, monotype, screen printing. Airbrush, acrylics, gouache, watercolour, ink, bookbinding etc.
Year 3: Advanced Year II / Diploma
Deepening the course content
Developing individual strengths
Techniques: sculpture, painting
Creating an application portfolio
Diploma project and exhibition
